Staff, especially at the charming bar was unbelievably nice and exceptionally responsive and lovely. Very devoted to service .

Staff were attentive and personable. Small bar downstairs was really special and I really enjoyed their signature Old Fashioned. Great location for Albert Hall and Harrods is within walking distance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly friendly service provided by most of the employees. They were always happy to assist with any requests I had and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I also appreciated the turn down service in the evenings, which made coming back to my room after a long day even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel staff were able to help me with getting speedier internet, which was a huge plus as I needed to get some work done during my stay. I was thrilled with how accommodating and efficient they were in handling this request. The classical, typical British decor was also a wonderful touch that added to the overall charm of the hotel. I especially loved the cute breakfast room, with its cozy fireplace that made for a delightful start to my day. And speaking of fireplaces, the room with the fireplace was a personal favorite of mine - such a cozy and inviting space! Lastly, I can't forget to mention the doorman, who was incredibly attentive and always there to offer assistance with anything I needed. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay in a classic British setting. The service, decor, and attention to detail truly make this hotel a standout choice.

Another stay here, another incredible experience. Attended a function at the Royal Albert Hall for our anniversary, just a short walk up the street. The hotel management / staff excelled in their care for us knowing it was our anniversary and provided a beautifully decorated bed with petals and chocolates as well as complimentary drinks. The rooms, the service, the quality, the staff are all beyond amazing. And the breakfast... just wow! They will do pretty much anything you could desire! You just can't beat this place if you're visiting the Kensington area. But to be honest, I would stay here wherever I was visiting in London, its that good.

The hotel has outstanding service - the staff are incredibly attentive. The rooms are very clean and done in a traditional English style, which may not be for everyone. Coffee in the conservatory and breakfasts were a plus, as was room service, which is becoming rarer and rarer. We have been to London many times and appreciate a neighborhood where there are a lot of amenities, but not as many crowds as, for example, Soho or Covent Garden.
